The Heavy Equipment Operations program follows the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum. Students train on late model John Deere and Caterpillar heavy equipment that exceeds all OSHA safety standards. Students learn to safely operate and maintain equipment such as backhoe, bulldozer, excavator, and front end loaders. Instructors are NCCER certified. Upon successful completion, students earn an NCCER certificate and a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
