The carpentry program prepares students to enter the construction industry. Students are trained to construct residential structures using both standard and sustainable building materials. A blend of classroom theory and hands-on experience is used to teach proper use of hand tools, portable power tools, and other equipment, as well as working with lumber, panel products, concrete, roofing materials, fasteners, and a variety of hardware. Other topics include site layout and foundation work, rough framing, roof framing, exterior and interior finish work, blueprint reading, math, and cost estimating.

The Heavy Equipment Operations program follows the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum. Students train on late model John Deere and Caterpillar heavy equipment that exceeds all OSHA safety standards. Students learn to safely operate and maintain equipment such as backhoe, bulldozer, excavator, and front end loaders. Instructors are NCCER certified. Upon successful completion, students earn an NCCER certificate and a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL).

LPNs take vital signs such as a temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
